Biography

I am a first year PhD student with interests in modern British and European history, specifically around the issue of European Integration. My previous work at the University of Oxford focused on opposition to European integration within the British Labour Party organized around political and ideological concerns, and it is the politics and ideas of "Europe" that I intend to study further here at UVA. Prior to Oxford, I completed undergraduate degrees in History and Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, College Park where I concentrated my studies on Modern European History.
