History Undergraduate Group
Aims
- Initiate conversations among students interested in historical topics
- Organize academic and social events that facilitate opportunities for student-teacher networking outside of the classroom
- Improve informal communication between students and professors
- Provide new events during the semester for members of the student body, majors and non-majors alike
- Work with the Graduate Studies Department to discuss current research areas and career opportunities beyond college with undergrads

Monthly conferences with students and professors to brainstorm new ideas and new ways to get involved with community events
