If the weather is fair, the ceremony will be at 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at the McIntire Amphtheatre. If there is inclement/severe weather, the ceremony will be at 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm in the North Grounds Recreation Center. The weather announcement will occur no later than 5:30 am on the day of graduation and be posted on UVA's main website, virginia.edu.

Reception with light food and beverages to follow either on the second floor of the South Lawn's (Nau/Gibson Hall) atrium in the case of fair weather, or at the North Grounds Recreation Center in the case of inclement/severe weather.

Tickets: You do not need tickets to the department's undergraduate graduation ceremony. You DO need tickets to attend the Final Exercises on the Lawn. For more information about tickets. parking, and accessibility during Finals Weekend, please visit https://majorevents.virginia.edu/finals.
