Karen Parshall named as one of the inaugural Fellows of the American Mathematical Society

Professor Karen Parshall has been named as one of the inaugural Fellows of the American Mathematical Society. This distinction recognizes those "who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics." Prof. Parshall will be inducted at the Society's meeting in January.
